Smoke is not a gaseous air pollutant. Gaseous air pollutants include gases, viz., sulphur dioxide, nitrogen oxides, carbon monoxides, hydrocarbons, etc. Smoke, dust,fumes, aerosols, etc. are particulate matters, though these are also air pollutants and not gaseous.
