11th BRICS Summit will be hosted by Brazil in Rio de Janeiro in 2019. It is the third time Brazil has hosted the summit after the 2014 summit. South Africa has hosted the 10th BRICS Summit in July 2018. BRICS is the association of five major emerging nations, i.e., Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa. South Africa was inducted in the group in 2010.
