Growth in production (in percent) of Natural Gas industry in India during the period 2015 – 2016 was negative. In fiscal year 2016, the growth rate for the production of natural gas was at approximately -4.2 per cent. This was an increase from the previous fiscal year's negative 4.9 per cent. Coal production (weight: 4.38%) increased by 7.1%. Refinery products and fertiliser production declined but the growth rate was not negative.
