Treasury bills, savings accounts and small time deposits, retail money market mutual funds are examples of 'Near Money'. Credit card doesn't come under Near Money. Near Money is also known as Quasi-money. These are highly liquid assets that can easily be converted into cash. The examples of Near Money are savings accounts, money funds, bank time deposits, Government treasury securities, bonds near their redemption date and foreign currencies.
