Fundamental Rights and Education: The original Constitution (1950) had seven Fundamental Rights . But after the passage of the 44th Amendment in 1978, there are now six Fundamental Rights . This Amendment deleted the seventh fundamental right, viz., right to property (Art. 31) from the list of Fundamental Rights.
