The UNFPA in April 2019 launched its annual flagship report State of World Population-2019 with the theme, “Unfinished business the pursuit of rights and choices.” The theme focused, for the first time, on data on women’s ability to make decisions over three key areas: sexual intercourse with their partner, contraception use and health care.
