Loess: an aeolian sediment formed by the accumulation of wind-blown silt; Tombolo: a deposition landform of sea in which an island is attached to the mainland by a narrow piece of land; Point bars: a depositional feature made of alluvium that accumulates on the inside bend of streams and rivers below the slip-off slope; Moraines: accumulations of dirt and rocks that have fallen onto the glacier surface or have been pushed along by the glacier as it moves.
