In India, evergreen forests are primarily located in states such as Karnataka and even Kerala. The Western Ghats are the primary location of the evergreen forest. They are also found in Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Tripura, Meghalaya, West Bengal and Andaman and Nicobar Islands. The forests mainly contain trees such as rosewood, mahogany and ebony.
