The Lilavati of Bhaskara is a standard text on Mathematics. The book is a treatise on Mathematics written in 1150. It is the first volume of Bhaskara's main work, the Siddhanta Shiromani, alongside the Bijaganita, the Grahaganita and the Goladhyaya. The book was written for his daughter named Lilavati. A Persian translation of the Lilavati was commissioned in 1587 by Emperor Akbar and it was executed by Faizi.
