Rotationleads to day and night on earth. If earth stops rotating, then there will be only one phase (day or night). Both these phases will not occur together, i.e., there will be only day or only night. Also if the rotation stops, then it will also affect the revolution of the earth. So, no weather change will take place on the earth.
