Pran Krishan Sikand has been awarded the Dadasaheb Phalkeaward for 2012. He is also the recipient of Padma Bhushan award.Soumitra Chatterjee was awarded the Dadasaheb Phalke award for2011 and Shashi Kapoor for 2014. Anupam Kher is not a recipient ofthis award. The Dadasaheb Phalke Award is India's highest award incinema. It is presented annually at the National Film Awards ceremony by the Directorate of Film Festivals.
