C.N.R Rao is the Indian scientist who has been awarded the '2012award for International Scientific Cooperation’ by the ChineseAcademy of Sciences. Initiated in 2007, the award for InternationalScientific Cooperation of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS)is to commend and honour those eminent foreign experts who have made outstanding contributions to facilitating cooperation with CAS in science and technology.
