Well known film ‘Chittagong’, directed by Bedabrata Pain, is mainly based on the life of Subodh Roy (1916–2006). Chittagong is a2012 Indian historical war drama film. It stars Manoj Bajpayee in thelead role and is based upon events of Chittagong Uprising. At the age of 14, Subodh Roy was the youngest participant in the Chittagong armoury raid in 1930-31 under the direction of the revolutionary leader Surya Sen .
