(a) Gurla Mandhata is the highest peak (7,694 m) of the Nalakankar Himal, a small subrange of the Himalaya in the Tibet. It is named after king Mandhata of Suryavansha of the Ikshvaku dynasty. It is the 34th highest peak in the world.
