(c) The honourable members of constituent assembly appended their signatures to the constitution on 24 January, 1950, which was the last meeting of constituent assembly. The eleventh session was held between 14–26 November, 1949. The Constitution of India was adopted on 26 November, 1949 and the members appended their signatures to it on 24 January, 1950. Constitution of India came into force on 26 January, 1950.
