(c) In the First Carnatic War, the Nawab of Carnatic army was defeated by the French. The war ended with the ‘Treaty Aix-la-Chapelle’ and after the Second Carnatic War, France aligned with Muzaffar Jung and Chanda Sahib,known as Inconclusive War, which ended with the ‘Treaty of Pondicherry’. The third war of Carnatic ended with the ‘Treaty of Paris’ signed in 1763. In the First Mysore War, Haider Ali defeated the British and ‘Treaty of Madras’signed between them.
