(d) A marine park is a protected sea or a lake area which consists of many species of marine life. Such marine parks are usually found in the coastal areas. In India, there are four marine national parks namely Gulf of Mannar Marine National Park, Gulf of Kutch Marine National Park, Rani Jhansi Marine National Park and Mahatma Gandhi Marine National Park. Gahirmatha is a marine wildlife sanctuary.
