(c) The British journalist H.W. Nevinson was associated with the Swadeshi Movement. When Lord Curzon, the then Viceroy of India,announced the Partition of Bengalin July 1905, the INC initiated the Swadeshi Movement in Bengal. The Movement was launched as a protest movement, which also gave a lead to the Boycott Movement in the country.
