(b) In the Golak Nath vs. State of Punjab case, Supreme Court held that “Fundamental Rights enable a man to chalk out his own life in the manner he likes best.” Golaknath vs. State of Punjab, or simply the Golaknath case, was a 1967 Indian Supreme Court case, in which the Court ruled that the Parliament could not curtail (limit) any of the Fundamental Rights in the Constitution.
