(b) Ram Mohan Roy was given the title of Raja by Akbar II. In 1828,Ram Mohan Roy established the Brahmo Samaj with Devendranath Tagore. In 1830, he went to England as an envoy of the Mughal Emperor, Akbar Shah II who sent him with the title of Raja to the court of King William IV.
