(d) India has recently signed a Border Pact with Bangladesh, which is a member of SAARC countries.The South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) was established with the signing of SAARC charter in Dhaka on December 8, 1985. SAARC comprises of eight-member states–Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan,India, the Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. The Secretariat of the Association was set up in Kathmandu on January 17, 1987.
