Calculations:
According to the question,
S.I. = (9000 × 5.5 × 3)/100
⇒ S.I. = 9 × 55 × 3 = 1485
So, Amount = P + S.I.
⇒ Amount = 9000 + 1485 = Rs. 10,485
∴ The amount to be paid back is Rs. 10,485.
