Solution:

Let the four terms be

P, Q, R

and

S

Average of 4 terms is 20

⇒ \;{ {P}+ {Q}+ {R}+ {S}}/{4}=20

⇒ {P}+ {Q}+ {R}+ {S}=80

The first term

=1 \/ 3 {rd} ×

sum of the remaining 3 terms

{P}=1 \/ 3( {Q}+ {R}+ {S})

⇒ \;{ {P}}/{ {Q}+ {R}+ {S}}=\;{1}/{3}

{P}=1

units and

{Q}+ {R}+ {S}=3

units
If 4 units

=80

, then

⇒ 1 \;\text " unit "\;=20
