(i) If any code ends with ‘0’ change ‘0’ to 9
(ii) If no match is found use X
(iii) If the first digit is ‘0’ replace it by 1
(iv) If both the first and last digits are equal numbers, ≠0 and ≠2, then change the first digit to 2
