A man is walking at a speed of 10 kmph. After every kilometer he takes rest for 5 minutes. How much time he takes in minutes to cover a distance of 7 kms?

Solution:

Time taken for one km

=1/10

i.e, 6 min
For covering every km, the time is effectively 6 + 5 i.e, 11 min
Total time required

= 6 11 + 6 = 72

min
