Solution:

x+\;{1}/{x}=5

x^{3}+\;{1}/{x^{3}}=(x+\;{1}/{x})^{3}-3 x ⋅ \;{1}/{x}(x+\;{1}/{x})

=5^{3}-3(5)=110
