Solution:

Investment × Time for
- A : 80,000×12 + 20,000×8 = 11,20,000
- B : 1,20,000×12 + 20,000×8 = 16,00,000
Their share in the year end profit is in ratio

= 11,20,000 : 16,00,000

= 112 : 160 = 7 : 10

The difference in their share of profit

=\;{10-7}/{10+7} × 68,000=₹ 12,000
