Solution:

Each of the four cows can graze an area equal to 1/4th the area of the circle.
The area grazed by the four cows

=\;{1}/{4} π 10^{2}+\;{1}/{4} π 12^{2}+\;{1}/{4} π 14^{2}+\;{1}/{4} π 16^{2}

=\;{1}/{4} π(10^{2}+12^{2}+14^{2}+16^{2})=\;{696 π}/{4}

=174π
