Solution:

Given that A is twice as fast as B
⇒ A can complete it in half the time as B
⇒ A can complete the work in 6 days.

1/6 + 1/12 = 2/12 + 1/12 = 3/12 = 1/4

Working together, A and B can complete the work in 4 days.
