Solution:

We know that,

a^{3}+b^{3}=(a+b) ×(a^{2}-a b+b^{2})

Given number is in the form of

{a^3+b^3}/{a^2-ab+b^2}

which is equal to a + b i.e.,

= 1.75 + 1.25 = 3
