Note : In a code the

n^{th}

letter in the English alphabet is coded as the

r^{th}

letter of it, where r is the remainder when 3n + 2 is divided by 26. For example, the 7th letter G is coded as W since 3.7 + 2 = 23 and W is the 23rd letter; the 8th letter H is coded as Z since 3.8 + 2 = 26 and Z is the 26th letter in the alphabet. Solution:

Ratio of equivalent capital TS for 1 month,

A:B:C =(3.5×6):(6.5×12):(7.5×6)=21:78:45

⇒A:B:C=7:26:15

profit is shared in the ratio of equivalent capitals.
∴ A's share in profit

=2.4×7/{7+26+15}=2.4×7/48

Rs. 0.35 lacs = Rs 35000
