I. Given : $\mathit{A}{\mathit{B}}^2=\mathit{A}{\mathit{C}}^2\mathit{–}\mathit{B}{\mathit{C}}^2$
$\Rightarrow \mathit{A}{\mathit{B}}^2+\mathit{B}{\mathit{C}}^2=\mathit{A}{\mathit{C}}^2$
Δ ABC is right angled at B and
AC is its hypotenuse
Hence, B is the orthocentre
∴ I alone is sufficient
