Beat frequency produced by two strings A and B=∆f1

When tension in string A is slightly increased, then beat of frequency =∆f2
Since, on increasing tension in the string A, beat frequency ∆f2 decreases from initial beat frequency ∆f1. Hence, frequency of string B must be greater than fundamental frequency of string A. i.e, frequency of string B=f0+∆f1
