The change in enthalpy when one mole of atoms are completely broken to obtain the atom in gaseous phase is called enthalpy of atomization.
Because of the absence of unpaired electrons, the inter atomic electronic bonding becomes weak in case of Zn and due to which it has least enthalpy of atomization. Also, vanadium possess highest enthalpy of atomization.
