Solution:

Let 1 day's work of A and B be x and y respectively,
then, x + y =

1/{30}

and also, 16x + 44y = 1
⇒ 4x + 11y =

1/4

Solving (i) & (ii), we get y =

Hence, B will finish the work in 60 days.
