Solution:

Let x and y km/hr be the speeds of Abhay and Samir, then

{30}/x-{30}/y

= 2

1/x-1/y

and also,

{30}/y-{30}/{2x}

= 1
⇒

-1/{2x}+1/y

1/{30}

... (ii)
Solving (i) and (ii) we get x = 5 km/hr
