Since the speed of Mohan is decreased by

the time taken will be increased by

, i.e., 36 minutes.
So, time taken for the remaining journey = 5 × 36
= 180 minutes
= 3 hours
In case accident takes place 30 km further, the time is increased by

th which is equal to 30 minutes. So the time taken 5 ×

{15}/{60}

(30 minutes)
= 2.5 hour
Thus it is clear that when he drives at normal speed, he takes 30 minutes less to cover 30 km.
