Rate of decrease = 4%
Decrease in population in first year = 125000 ×

= 5000
Population in first year
= 125000 – 5000 = 120000
Decrease in population in second year
= 120000 ×

= 4800
∴ Total migration = 5000 + 4800 = 9800
