Solution:

Let the total work be 24 units.
Work done by A in one day = 24/6 = 4 units
Work done by B in one day = 24/8 = 3 units
Work done by A in 2 days = 8 units
Work done by B in 2 days = 6 units
Work done by C in 2 days = 24 – 8 – 6 = 10 units
A’s share from the total money =

8/{24} × 720

= 240
