(1) Devagiri (modern day Daulatabadin Maharashtra) wasthe capital of the Yadavs. It wasbuilt by first Yadav king Bhilanin 1187 A.D. The Yadavs ofDevagiri were the descendantsof the feudatory nobles of theWestern Chalukyan (Chalukyasof Kalyani) Empire.
