(2) The permanent Secretariatof SAARC is based in Kathmandu,Nepal. It coordinatesand monitors implementationof activities, prepares for andservices meetings, and servesmeetings, and serves as a channelof communication betweenthe Association and its MemberStates as well as other regionalorganisations.
