(4) Suppose the present age ofSunita = x years
Therefore, the present age ofSunita’s father = 4x years
According to question,3 (x + 8) = 4x + 8
⇒ 3x + 24 = 4x + 8
⇒ 4x – 3x = 24 – 8
∴ x = 16
The present age of Sunita is 16years.
