It is located at the very lacewhere Gautam Buddha sat inmeditation under a peepul treeand attained enlightenmentafter three days and nights ofmeditation. It is one of the fourholy sites related to the life ofthe Lord Buddha, and particularlyto the attainment ofEnlightenment.
