(1) The Lodha committee wasformed on January 22, 2015 bythe Supreme Courtin the wakeof the Justice Mudgal Committeereport which called forreforms within BCCI. It wasprimarily assigned with thetask of determining the quantumof punishment for playersand others involved in spotfixing in IPL. It also gave recommendationon change in thestructure and ecosystem in theIndian cricket board saying noto politician’s involvement inBCCI.
