Solution:

{ 1200 }/ { x - 300 } - { 1200 } /{ x } = 2

= 1200 ( { x - x + 300 } /{ x ( x - 300 ) } ) = 2

= x ( x - 300 ) = { 1200 × 300 }/ { 2 }

= x ( x - 300 ) = 600 × 300

= x ( x - 300 ) = 600 ( 600 - 300 )

= x = 600 kmph.
Scheduled duration of flight = 1200
= 2 hours
