(3) Let the total spendings on sports be ` x.
Then,
Amount spent on Cricket

= ( { 81 } /{ 360 } × x ×) = ( { 9 } /{ 40 } x )

Amount spent on Football

= ( { 54 } /{ 360 } × { x } ) = ( { 3 } /{ 20 } { x } )

Difference

= ( { 9 }/ { 40 } { x } - { 3 }/ { 20 } { x } \right) = { 3 } /{ 40 } { x }

∴ Required percentage

=[ ( { { 3 { x } }/ { 40 } }/ { { 9 { x } }/ { 40 } } ) × 100 \] \% = 33 { 1 } /{ 3 } \%
