Solution:

√ { 8 } + 2 √ { 32 } - 3 √ { 128 } + 4 √ { 50 }

= 2 √ { 2 } + 8 √ { 2 } - 3 × 8 √{ 2 } + 4 × 5 √ { 2 }

= 2 √ { 2 } + 8 \√ { 2 } - 24√ { 2 } + 20 √ { 2 }

= ( 2 + 8 - 24 + 20 ) √ { 2 }

= 6 √ { 2 } = 6 × 1.414 = 8.484
