⇒ Mallika can complete the whole work = 50 × 3 = 150 days
⇒ Together they can complete the whole work = (d1 × d2)/ (d1 + d2)
⇒ Together they can complete the whole work = 175 × 150/325 days
⇒ Together they can complete 26/35 of the work = $\frac{175\times 150}{325}\times \frac{26}{35}$ = 60 days
∴ Together they can complete 26/35 of the work in 60 days.
