⇒ Selling price = 80x
⇒ Selling price = cost price × (100 + profit)%
⇒ Selling price = cost price × (100 + 30)%
⇒ 80x = cost price × 130%
⇒ Cost price = 8000x/130 = 800x/13
⇒ Required % = [marked price/ cost price] × 100 = [100x/(800x/13)] × 100 = 1300/8 = 162.5%
∴ Marked price is 162.5% of cost price.
