The length, breadth and height of a cuboid are 5 cm, 2 cm and 4cm respectively. What is the total surface area of the cuboid?

Validate

Solution:

L = 5 cm, b = 2 cm and h = 4 cm.
As we know,
Total surface area of the cuboid = 2(lb + bh + hl)
Total surface area of the cuboid = 2(5 × 2 + 2 × 4 + 4 × 5) = 2 (10 + 8 + 20) = 2 × 38 = 76
